About Me and My Friends...
I am retired from both the United States Air Force (1991) and SAS Institute, Inc (2010) and enjoy creating pens and other small lathe projects. I enjoy creating unique, executive pens made from oak that was reclaimed when SAS Building A was demolished in July 2004.
Currently making Pigtails/Food Flippers for barbecue teams on the KCBS circuit. I am a KCBS Master Certified Barbecue Judge and Certified KCBS Table Captain. I welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you quality pens, unique bottle stoppers, napkin rings, bowls, pigtails and more at a very competitive prices. If you have pieces of wood, trees, or furniture that you would like me to turn into family heirlooms I'd be glad to discuss the possibilities.
The wood lathe I am currently using is a Delta 1460 built in 1948 and originally belonged to my father. I also use a Jet mini-lathe for much of the smaller projects (photo at right). If I'm not on the Harley, enjoying my grandsons, or involved in barbeque I'm at the lathe. Questions? Give me a call at 919-673-7118 or email at email@example.com
